About the event
Make several pieces and experiment with different techniques and colors! Learn basic enameling techniques such as sifting, blending colors, sgraffito with enamel, wet packing, and using stencils to create a pair of earrings, three necklace pendants, and one bracelet charm which can be completed by adding chain or beads available at Argenta Bead. Students will use copper sheet, vitreous enamel and klyr fire liquid to create thier designs. All tools are provided for class use, and all materials are included in the ticket cost.Â
This event requires a minimum number of students to register, if the class does not make a full refund will be issued. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable, but may be transferred to another party.
Elise DeLorme is a Jewelry and Metals major at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She uses enameling in much of her work and loves trying out new techniques. When not in the studio, she enjoys going to drag, burlesque and metal shows at local venues.
