Service Description

Peyote is probably the most versatile stitch you can add to your bead weaving arsenal. Flat and circular, odd and even count; learn the difference and when to use what. This class will be tailored to you and your desired project needs. A ring band is a great first project choice that can usually be finished in class. Peyote stitch can also be used to create beaded ropes and capture cabochons, crystals and found objects. You may choose to book multiple sessions to cover more techniques as you progress. Examples of topics we may cover in class include: How to end and add thread as needed How to connect findings like clasps, ear wires or jump rings How to connect rows of beadwork to create tubes for bails, rings and more Needle and fiber education Freeform peyote, adding focal beads and varying sizes Adding decorative fringe and reinforcing your work How inlay a piece of flat peyote beadwork into leather or other items such as bags or garments. Want to bring a friend or arrange a small group? Up to 3 additional guests may attend at a discount, for only $30 per person. A single reservation secures your timeslot with the remaining enrollment fees due the day of.
